From Fragmented Campaigns to Consumer Engagement Infrastructure

Octech Digital, co-founded by Raghvendra Singh, Praveen Reddy, and Kundan Bharadwaj, runs enterprise-grade consumer promotions and loyalty programmes for global brands across FMCG, alcobev, and pharma, categories with direct relevance to Gulf markets navigating strict compliance and age-gating requirements.

Most people who read founder stories in college end up admiring them. Raghvendra Singh, Co-Founder & CEO of Octech Digital, decided early on that he wanted to be the subject of one.

A Long-Held Ambition, Built Through MarTech

Raghvendra 's interest in entrepreneurship predates Octech by years. As a college student, he was an avid reader of business magazines and founder stories, drawn to how entrepreneurs could spot an everyday problem and build something that changed how an industry worked. That ambition stayed with him through a 15+ year career in technology, where he built hands-on experience across product development, engineering leadership, and client-facing problem-solving in FinTech, MarTech, and consumer tech.

The Pattern That Became a Business

While working closely with agencies and brands on consumer promotions, Singh kept noticing the same structural problem: campaigns that looked simple from the outside, a contest, a reward, a scan-to-win mechanic, were usually held together behind the scenes by multiple vendors, disconnected tools, and fragile, manual processes. A single campaign could depend on one system for participation, another for validation, another for rewards, and yet another for reporting. At scale, those breakpoints became impossible to ignore: delays, inconsistent data, limited visibility, and difficulty scaling were the norm.

“Why should a brand have to rebuild the technology foundation for every consumer campaign?” Singh and his co-founders kept asking each other. Those conversations became whiteboard sessions, then product discussions, and eventually the foundation of Octech Digital, a consolidated platform bringing promotions, gamification, loyalty, rewards, data, and analytics together in one place, rather than another isolated campaign tool.

What Octech Digital Builds

Octech Digital builds technology platforms that help brands create, run, and measure consumer engagement programmes at scale, spanning consumer promotions, gamified campaigns, loyalty and rewards programmes, cashback and coupon journeys, product validation, and data-led engagement solutions. The company works with brands across FMCG, alcobev, pharma, retail, QSR, banking, and FinTech, managing the full consumer journey from registration and participation through validation, reward fulfilment, and analytics.

What differentiates Octech, Singh says, is that the company doesn't treat engagement as a one-time activation; it builds reusable systems that let brands launch, optimise, and scale campaigns faster over time, with enterprise-grade requirements like fraud control, first-party data capture, and modular technology built in from the start. Through Playverra, Octech is extending that same engagement model into hyper-casual gaming, with a library of 25+ games creating repeatable play-earn-redeem loops for brands.

Turning a Market Problem Into an Enterprise-Grade Product

Building Octech wasn't simply a matter of identifying the gap; it meant turning that insight into a product reliable enough for enterprise scale. Singh and his team addressed the tension between speed and reliability by building modular technology components that could adapt to different campaign needs without a full rebuild each time, letting the company move fast without compromising on brand safety or fraud control. Assembling a team that understood both the technology and the operational realities of running consumer campaigns, product, engineering, operations, and campaign expertise together, was equally central to getting the platform right.

The Leadership Team

That team is anchored by Raghvendra 's fellow co-founders and a managing partner who together cover strategy, engineering, and delivery:

  • Praveen Reddy, VP and Co-Founder,  is a strategic leader focused on driving business growth and building high-performing teams. He specialises in strategic planning and operations, with strong expertise in product development, market expansion, and organisational leadership. Known for his focus on innovation and customer-centric growth, he delivers impactful, results-driven solutions.
  • Kundan Bharadwaj, CTO and Co-Founder,  is a technology leader with a passion for building scalable systems and engineering high-performing teams. He specialises in technical strategy and architecture, with strong expertise in product engineering, system design, and technology innovation. Known for his focus on clean architecture and reliable performance, he delivers robust, customer-centric solutions.
  • Jebby Matthew Rajan, Managing Partner,  leads solution strategy, commercial planning, and delivery at Octech Digital. Across interactive campaigns, enterprise platforms, games, and AI-powered experiences, he helps brands take an ambitious idea through to a shipped product, managing scope, sign-off, and delivery along the way. His guiding view is that technology earns its place only when it solves a real problem, creates an experience worth remembering, and shows up in the business's bottom line.

The Turning Point: From Campaign Vendor to Trusted Platform

Octech's breakthrough moment, according to Singh, came when the company successfully delivered high-volume, data-led consumer promotion programmes for established brands, proving the technology could perform under pressure and support the complete engagement journey reliably. The clearest signal was a shift in client conversations: instead of asking “can you help us execute this campaign,” clients began asking “how can we build the next engagement programme with you?” That shift pushed Octech to invest more deeply in modular platform capabilities, gamification, loyalty mechanics, and repeatable engagement journeys, evolving from a campaign technology provider into what Singh now calls a consumer engagement infrastructure company.

What's Next

Over the next five years, Raghvendra wants Octech Digital established as a leading consumer-engagement technology partner for brands in India and beyond, moving engagement from one-time activations toward an always-on, measurable relationship between brands and consumers. The company plans to deepen its presence across India while selectively exploring high-growth international markets.

His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs: start with a real problem, not just a good idea; find co-founders who share your values but complement your skills; and above all, focus on execution, “ideas are everywhere; consistent execution is what creates momentum.”
